Polling station greeters wanted for May 2021 elections

Work at this year's local elections and be part of democracy in action. We're employing polling station greeters for the May 6 elections to help ensure residents can cast their vote in a Covid-secure environment.

The greeters will be based outside polling stations in the borough to manage queues, encourage social distancing and distribute hand sanitiser as well as other duties on the instruction of the Presiding Officer.

Polling station greeters will work one of two shifts: from 7am to 2:30pm or from 2:30pm to 10pm. They will be working outside and cannot leave the polling station during their shift.

Greeters will be paid £9 (gross) per hour. You must be eligible to work in the UK, available for brief online training and provide your own transport.
