Wild World Heroes, Summer Reading Challenge 2021

Discover a wild reading adventure at your library this summer holiday! Wild World Heroes, Summer Reading Challenge 2021 launches on Saturday 10 July in all Hertfordshire libraries.

Library reading challenge

Participating local libraries include Welwyn Garden City Library, Hatfield Library, Welwyn Library, Brookmans Park Library, Cuffley Library, and Woodhall Library.

We're challenging children to read any six library books of their choice over the holidays and return to the library to collect reward stickers as they finish their books.

In this challenge the children will join six wild heroes to solve the environmental issues in 'Wilderville'. Using sets of stickers and clues along the way, our young readers assist the heroes make their town a better place! Children who complete the challenge by Saturday 4 September will receive a medal, certificate, and a Wild World Heroes bookmark.

Overseen across the UK by The Reading Agency, the Summer Reading challenge has teamed up with the World Wildlife Fund, to inspire young readers to care about the planet. With over 20,000 Hertfordshire children taking part in 2019, would you want to miss out on this year's fantastic FREE challenge?
