Welwyn Hatfield Youth Council
The Welwyn Hatfield Borough Youth Council aims to makes a positive difference in our community and raise awareness about issues that matter to young people.
We work in partnership with many borough and county-wide youth services to ensure young people within Welwyn Hatfield have access to the services and support they need. An important part of this is supporting the borough's Youth Council.
The Welwyn Hatfield Youth Council is made up of like-minded local young people aged 11-19 who really want to make a positive difference in our community.
With a growing need for youth services such as sport facilities, mental health services, a growing LGBTQ+ community and a rise in youth anti-social behaviour (ASB), it is vital our Youth Council are engaging with our younger community. The Youth Council are passionate about challenges that young people face today and in raising awareness for these issues.
