Description

Regular Respite Carers Break and Caring for Life Home Care along with other carer support services in North Herts, Stevenage, Wel/Hat, East Herts, Broxbourne, Dacorum & St Albans.


The Regular Respite Carers Break service is proactive and preventative, making a difference to the carer's emotional wellbeing and helping them build resilience in their role as carer is our fundamental aim. One of our support workers will take over the caring role for around 3 hours per week, providing a service that gives the carer time out to do the things they would otherwise not be able to do. The cared-for is looked after by our trained professional support workers to engage in activities that help them remain independent and part of the community. Carers Respite Breaks can be self-funded or referred to Herts County Council for a carer's assessment to determine eligibility of funding.
