Egg-citing Easter activities in Welwyn Hatfield

The dates for this year's egg-citing Easter activities have been revealed!

The annual Hatfield Easter egg hunt runs from Saturday 6 April - Tuesday 23 April, where participating shops will conceal an egg in their aisles that children will have to find.

Youngsters then have to write down the name of each egg alongside the shop on an activity card - these can be picked up from the reception at White Lion House and participating shops from Saturday 6 April, and come complete with colouring activities and an Easter story.

To be in with a chance of winning, children just need to submit their completed entry to the reception at White Lion House.

On Saturday 20 April, from 11am-3.45pm, the Easter Eggstravaganza is taking place at Hatfield Library. Organised by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Creation Station, and Hatfield Library, the event includes Easter themed arts and crafts, and spring story time.

The arts and crafts activities run from 11am-3pm, and include Easter colouring sheets with noodle doodles. These activities will be delivered by The Creation Station.

From 3.15-3.45pm, Hatfield Library will be putting on a spring story time for children.

Places are limited, so please email to book.

Over at Mill Green, Easter themed activities are taking place, including the chance to make a hot cross bun. There is also a sunflower seed planting session on Monday 8 April at the baths, an Easter egg hunt on Monday 15 April, and clay owls on Monday 22 April.
