Advice about travel in the borough in lockdown
The GOV.UK website sets out what you can and cannot do.
If you have to travel you should try and avoid public transport - if possible, walk or cycle instead.
Parking your car
We began charging in car parks and enforcing town centre restrictions from 15 June.
We're encouraging people to download the Paybyphone mobile app, which is an easy way to pay for parking without queuing or touching the machines.
If do not have a smart phone, you can call 0800 546 0601 and quote the location code which can be found on the tariff signs in the car park.
Parking enforcement in residential areas, including permit schemes, resumed on Monday 6 July.
