Stream dipping with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and GLL
Come along and discover the creatures that live in our rivers beneath the surface.
Join Kate, Wilder Communities Officer at Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, and a team of expert volunteers for an exciting stream dipping session to discover the secret world of incredible creatures beneath the surface!
Experts will show you what to do and help identify what you find. All equipment is provided. Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes.
This event is part of our Great Big Green Week, and the very first Herts Rivers Week - a celebration of our globally rare and beautiful chalk rivers. Through a series of walks, talks, and family-friendly events, you'll learn about the wildlife these rivers support, the challenges they face, and simple ways you can help protect them.
