WHBC has been shortlisted for a Local Government Chronicle (LGC) Award for its entry ‘Bringing the Knife Angel to Welwyn Garden City’ in the Public/Private Partnership category.
A celebration of the borough’s inspirational individuals and businesses took place on Thursday 26 February at the annual One Welwyn Hatfield Community Awards.
WHBC has announced plans to invite residents to share their views on the creation of a new parish council for WGC, with a consultation expected to launch in May, subject to approval by Full Council.
