Women's rugby
Free women's rugby taster session!
- An introduction to rugby at Welwyn RFC for anyone of any experience wanting to give rugby a go. We have squads for girls from U8 through to U18 plus a women's side too.
- The sessions will initially be non-contact just to give everyone a chance to see what they think. The Women's Rugby World Cup is being held this year and with the sport growing year on year, you never know - you may follow in the footsteps of our 11 full internationals who have played girls' rugby at Welwyn.
- All sessions are run by qualified coaches all of whom hold Enhanced DBS checks.
- The sessions aim to be fun and let everyone build on the excellent camaraderie which abounds in girls' and women's rugby.
