About us

Our vision is to have an easy to use virtual hub that provides advice, information and puts you in touch with what you need. The hub is for everyone, residents, friends, family, doctors, referrers, professionals, volunteers, carers, students, young and old.

The hub will be an evolving site, we welcome feedback and ideas to help make it grow and flourish for the community of Welwyn Hatfield.

The Healthy Hub works in different ways.

· You can find out accredited and current health advice from the NHS.

· The search function finds activities, clubs and healthcare services near you.

· You can directly access local, established partners that offer support, chosen to represent all stages in our lives.

· We use the 5 ways to wellbeing as routes through to find what is best for you

Welwyn Hatfield Healthy Hub will be coming to you soon with its very own website. In the meantime we are using One Welhat to share current Covid19 health and wellbeing information via our bulletin until our website goes live.

To go straight to the Bulletin page please click Healthy Hub Bulletin May 19th or read on to find out more about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

What are the Five Key Messages for Health and Wellbeing?

The Five Ways to Wellbeing is based on scientific evidence, pulled together to generate Five key messages that lead to improvements in our mental health and wellbeing. The aim is to develop a "mental health equivalent" of the popular and well-known message, 'Five a Day'.
