Chinese delegation visits Welwyn Hatfield
Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, Councillor Frank Marsh, hosted a visit from a Chinese delegation from Anhui Province who were visiting Welwyn Hatfield as part of a wider four-day trip to the UK.
The delegation received presentations from Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s Chief Executive, Ka Ng, and Communications, Marketing and Engagement Manager, Michael Sherry, on the services the Council provides and how it makes decisions, as well as on the Council’s communication activities and complaints procedures.
Councillor Marsh said:
“I was delighted to meet the delegation from Anhui Province and welcome them to our wonderful Borough. Their visit was an opportunity for us to share ideas about service delivery and how we engage with our local residents and businesses. I know that the delegates found their visit to Welwyn Hatfield very informative and there is no doubt that we learnt a lot from each other.”
