Egg-cellent activities in Welwyn Hatfield this Easter!

Campus West

At Campus West, there are some cracking good films to watch! Take a break from the chocolate eggs, grab your popcorn) and settle in for ‘A Minecraft Movie’ - an adventure that’s sure to thrill. For younger viewers, ‘Sylvanian Families: The Movie’ offers a charming and heartwarming experience.

You can also experience a roar-some adventure with your little ones at Dinosaur Adventure Live on Monday, 7 April, with shows at 2pm and 4:30pm.

There are extra holiday skate sessions on at RollerCity, with the Holiday Roller Skate Disco’s on every weekday during the Easter break.

And at Soft Play City, there are special morning and afternoon timed sessions throughout the two weeks to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and comfortable experience for the children visiting.

For those looking for a challenge, why not test your skills in Pier Pressure, the award-winning Escape Room? These immersive experiences will put your problem-solving to the test. Take on one - or both - of the thrilling rooms while they’re still running at Campus West!

Hatfield Library

Easter Crafts fun for 4–11-year-olds takes place at Hatfield Library on Tuesday 8 April, 11am-12.30pm. The event is free, but please book your place in person at the library to avoid disappointment, or by calling 0300 123 4049.

Hatfield Town Centre 

Calling Pokémon fans of all ages! A special Pokémon pop-up event is taking place in Hatfield Town Centre on Saturday 12 April. Hosted in collaboration with BishBashBosh and Calamity Comics, you can expect:

• Exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Shop and exclusive merchandise.
• Pokémon GO Walking Route – explore Hatfield and unlock in-game rewards.
• Safe Trading Sessions – with experts guiding safe Pokémon card trades.
• Pokémon Quiz & Blackout Bingo – win amazing prizes!
• Pokémon Training Academy – learn the basics of the trading card game.

All this, plus giveaways. 

Easter event 

On Saturday 26 April, White Lion Square will play host to an Easter egg-stravaganza, with something for all the family. Highlights will include a clue-tastic Carrot Trail, live performers, designing an Easter card and other Easter crafts, plus meet the Easter Bunny! Pop along between 10am and 3pm.

Stanborough Park 

The fun, free family challenge that is the Xplorer event is back from 9 to 16 April! Your young explorers can grab their maps and answer sheets from the Splashlands Kiosk at the North side of the park and set off in search of the clues.
        
Splashlands, the popular, award-winning water park will be re-opening on Saturday 5 April.  The splash pad will be open every day from 10am to 5pm, weather and temperature dependent. Entrance to the Splashlands is free, just turn up. Refreshments will be available from the kiosk, and the changing facilities and public toilets will also be open. Mill Green Watermill and Museum 

At Mill Green the Mini Millers sessions for little ones continue every Friday. The under 5's stay and play sessions include some hands-on play themed around milling, baking and rivers! Snacks and squash are included in the admission price. Please see the Mill Green website for all the details. 

Welwyn Roman Baths

Alternatively, step back in time for the ultimate immersive history lesson, and hear about how the Romans lived in Welwyn over 1,800 years ago at the Roman Baths! Open from 10am to 4pm every Saturday, including over the Easter period. More information can be found on their website.

The Hive 

At The Hive in Hatfield, the HAPpy Camp returns! These camps offer a fun, friendly multi-activity holiday programme for 6- to 12-year-olds, focused on a combination every day of multi-activity sports, fun and games, alongside arts & craft-based activities. The HAPpy Camp is open to children who are registered to receive benefits-related free school meals. Find out if you qualify online.

There are also Freddie’s Den soft play sessions open Monday to Friday.
