Appointments to Non-Executive Committees were also confirmed at the Annual Council meeting and a full list of appointments can be found on the Council’s website.

The many achievements over the last year of members and Council staff were noted at the meeting, with Councillor Holloway and Councillor Quinton thanking councillors and officers for their hard work.

Councillor Chesterman OBE said: “I am delighted to support the Welwyn Hatfield branch of Parkinson’s UK, a charity that helps improve the quality of life of people affected by Parkinson’s, as well as providing invaluable support to their families and carers.  Parkinson’s UK is also the largest charity funder of research into a cure for the condition.  I am committed to raising awareness and funds for this worthy cause, to help make a difference to those affected by Parkinson’s in our Borough, including members of my own family.”
