Dinosaurs Are Taking Over Hatfield Town Centre This September!
Stomp on down to Hatfield Town Centre for a rawrsome day of free outdoor activities and entertainment on Saturday 27 September, from 10am-3pm.
Dinomania, who were in the Britain's Got Talent 2022 Semi-Finals and on Blue Peter in 2024, will be taking over White Lion Square and transforming it into a prehistoric playground bringing dinosaurs to life in an exciting, interactive experience for children of all ages.
Highlights will include animatronic T. Rexes, baby dinosaur puppets, a disco, giant bubbles, outdoor games, and face painting – all completely free!
As part of the fun, there will be children’s games with the chance to win exciting prizes, including wristwatches and visitors can also enjoy live music from Music 2 Connect, who previously performed at the Community Fair and Outdoor Fun event.
Dinomania workshops not only promise a fun-filled experience but also encourage participants to use essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Through active participation and exploration, children are encouraged to ask questions, make connections, and delve into their interests in the world of dinosaurs!
There will also be a free Arts & Crafts drop-in session in the Creator Space at Hatfield Library from 12pm to 1.30pm with no booking required.

Free events like this are a brilliant way to bring our communities together, enjoy something different in the town centre, and support our local businesses. The event will be running alongside the popular Hatfield market and visitors can take advantage of up to three hours free parking in the town centre’s The Common multi-storey car park.
