Award winning Christmas Escape Rooms return to Welwyn Hatfield

This Christmas, award winning escape room team Pier Pressure will return to Mill Green Museum and Watermill with their acclaimed part escape room, part theatre production of A Christmas Carol.

In addition, audiences at Campus West in Welwyn Garden City can enjoy Elfscape, their festive‑themed escape room adventure, or take on the currently running Otto’s Oddities.

Audiences can choose from these exciting escape room experiences:

  • The Great Elfscape at Campus West – Opens 1 December - Santa’s elves have mixed up the presents after a wild party, and guests must ensure each child gets the right gift before Santa returns in one hour. (Difficulty rating 7/10; ages 8+).
  • Otto’s Oddities at Campus West - Open now! - Step back to 1901 and help a young toymaker sneak his creation into a shop window to achieve success, all while racing against the clock. (Difficulty rating 8/10; ages 8+).
  • A Christmas Carol at Mill Green Museum and Watermill – Opens Friday 5 December - Take on the roles of Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and others to explore the beautiful 18th century working watermill. Solve challenges as you meet the famous ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future! (Difficulty rating 7/10; ages 8+).

Escape Rooms are immersive experiences where teams solve puzzles, complete tasks, and beat challenges in a themed setting. Expect colourful characters and Crystal Maze-style trials for an unforgettable adventure.
