New Joint Administration Agreed in Principle
Negotiations on a new Joint Administration agreement for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council are now at a very advanced stage, with only final details to be agreed.
Following productive discussions between the local Welwyn Hatfield Labour Group and the Liberal Democrat Group, negotiations on a new Joint Administration agreement are now at a very advanced stage, with only final details to be agreed.
Subject to approval by Full Council on 6 February, Cllr Rose Grewal will become the new Leader of the Council, bringing a renewed commitment to delivering a shared agenda and vision.
The current Leader, Cllr Max Holloway will remain on the Cabinet to support the transition as the Joint Administration moves into its next phase. The focus of the New Joint Administration remains on ensuring stability and delivering on its joint programme of priorities for the residents of Welwyn Hatfield.
