Junior dancers

Campus West has announced that auditions will be taking place for junior dancers for its 2026 pantomime, Dick Whittington.

The auditions, for dancers aged 9-13 years, will take place from 10am on Sunday 10 May at Campus West in Welwyn Garden City. Auditionees need to register in advance of the auditions by completing the registration form on the Campus West website.

This Christmas, Dick Whittington, the tale of a young boy who travels to London with his cat to seek his fortune, will come to life on the Campus West stage. With dazzling choreography and a heartwarming story, this production guarantees to immerse the Welwyn Hatfield community in the spirit of Christmas.

Written by the talented acting and writing duo Jonas Cemm and Joe Sargent, this year's pantomime promises to captivate audiences more than ever with its creativity, humour and surprises. Their imaginative storytelling has become a cherished part of the festive season in Welwyn Hatfield, and this year is especially meaningful as it marks 10 years since Jonas took on his very first acting role in a Campus West panto which happened to be  Dick Whittington, the show that he will bring to life once again for local audiences.

For more information and to register for the Dick Whittington auditions, visit the Campus West website. Auditionees must register by Sunday 3 May.

Tickets for this year’s Panto are now on sale now, including the option to purchase tickets through the Reserve Now, Pay Later scheme.

In addition to the popular annual pantomime, Campus West hosts a variety of live events throughout the year, providing the local community with even more opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre and live performances. The next family event, on 28 May, is an educational show ‘Utterly Revolting Science’ during the May half term.
