How the lottery works
Tickets for the online lottery cost just £1 with each ticket having a 1 in 50 chance to win. The draws take place every Saturday night when a six digit winning combination is picked. Prizes are given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2 to 6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all six and you win the jackpot! Players get to choose who their ticket purchase will support. They can either support the Lottery Central Fund (funds are distributed to the community by a committee) or they can choose a specific good cause to support.
60% from each ticket sold goes to local charities, community organisations and other non-for-profit groups with the remainder being put towards prizes, operating costs and VAT.
