Secret Garden

The Secret Garden Project in Welwyn Garden City

Secret Garden

About the Project

We are developing plans to transform the green space beneath the central roundabout near the John Lewis subway in the heart of Welwyn Garden City into an exciting new public space known as the Secret Garden.

The project aims to turn this underused area into a welcoming destination where residents and visitors can relax, connect with nature, attend events and spend time together.

Secret Garden Proposals

What Could the Secret Garden Include?

Early proposals for the Secret Garden feature:

  • An outdoor amphitheatre for performances and community events

  • A community garden

Why Are We Creating the Secret Garden?
