How we support Veterans
We have signed up to a Community Covenant action plan in consultation with the Royal British Legion to support the service community. To find out more visit the Armed Forces Community Covenant page.
We give special dispensation for anyone serving in the armed forces (currently or within the last five years), to be eligible to join the Housing Needs Register without having to demonstrate a local connection to the borough.
Local Breakfast Clubs
The Hatfield & Welwyn G.C. Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club meet on the first Sunday of every month at 10am at Harpsfield Hall Wetherspoons in Hatfield.
