Installing more EV (electric vehicle) charging points

Under the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) funding scheme, we are working with Hertfordshire County Council (the lead Authority) to install a number of on-street electric vehicle charge points.

This project will compliment the 196 off street charge points already installed junder the Onstreet Residential Charge Point Scheme

Recent government statistics show that Welwyn Haftield ranks 20th in the UK, and 6th in Councils outside of London for the amount of charge points installed per 100,000 residents.
