Funding for community organisations to restore sports facilities damaged by extreme weather, such as recent events of Storms Bert and Conall

The Movement Fund from Sport England is available for sport facilities damaged by extreme weather.

Funding will be prioritised to support sports and activities that need to recover quickly, with spring and summer sports, or where activity is not scheduled to take place for several weeks, being a lower priority.

Sport England’s Net Zero ambitions encourage organisations applying for funding to explain how they are attempting to reduce energy usage, promote responsible travel, reduce waste and restore facilities in a way that builds resilience to future storm damage.
