An opportunity to become accredited as water literate!
With less than 1% fresh water readily available to all living things, the demand increasingly outweighs the supply. This water scarcity has extremely damaging impacts on our environment. We can be a part of the change.
What is the water literacy programme?
A learning experience. You will learn about the value of water, the need to save it and vitally, how we can do this as individuals, organisations and communities.
Who runs the training?
This course has been put together by the water industry’s leading experts. It is funded by Ofwat’s Water Breakthrough Challenge, Northumbrian Water, Groundwork East, Waterwise and their partners
When: Various dates until end of November 2025
Cost: Fully Funded (free!) for the first 2000 places.
