Hatfield 2030+

Work in Hatfield continues at pace to transform the opportunity sites identified by the 2030+ partnership to secure Hatfield's long-term prosperity, delivering new shops and businesses as well as new homes to increase the vitality of the town centre.

The first stage was completed in September 2019 with the opening of the new-look White Lion Square. Demolition of the buildings at the Wellfield Road end of the town has allowed the completion of a temporary car park which in turn has enabled construction to commence on the new multi-storey car park at The Common.
