Planned Works Monthly Prize Draw

  1. The Promoter

The promoter is: Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, Council Offices, Campus East, Welwyn Garden City AL8 6AE

  1. The Competition

  • The competition is a monthly prize draw for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (WHBC) tenants that have completed a Planned Works Customer Satisfaction Survey.

  1. How to enter

  • Customer Satisfaction Surveys are sent to WHBC tenants who have had works completed at their property which fall under the Investment Delivery Team.
  • The survey can either be completed on Survey Monkey or a physical copy can be filled out and posted to WHBC.
  • All tenants that are due to have a customer satisfaction survey sent to them will be sent a text from GOV.UK with a link to the Survey Monkey questionnaire. If WHBC does not have a valid mobile number on file, a physical letter with a pre-paid envelope enclosed, will be sent to the address instead.
  • The tenants must complete the survey, ensuring all required answers are filled out, including confirming they would like to be entered into the prize draw.

  1. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to anyone who has work completed at their property under the Investment Delivery Team.
  • The survey will be sent to the listed lead tenant, and that person will be contacted to claim the prize if they are selected.
  • The survey must be submitted with all required questions answered and the tenant must select that they wish to be entered into the prize draw.
  • Tenants will be entered into the competition irrespective of the content of their answers.
  • In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
  • The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

  1. The Prize

  • The prize is listed as a £50 voucher of WHBC’s choice.
  • The prizes are not negotiable.
  • The prizes are non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash

  1. Winners

  • One winning entry will be selected each month by WHBC’s Resident Involvement Team.
  • Only one entry will be permitted per completed survey.
  • The winner will be announced by the end of the following month from the submitted date.

  1. Claiming the prize

  • Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council will contact you via email. If no response is received after 5 days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.

  1. Consent

  • By participating in this competition, you agree to be contacted by WHBC in relation to this competition.

  1. Data protection and publicity

  • All personal information will be held securely on a server in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.  To find out more about how we use your data, please see our Privacy Notice.
  • Personal data is never sold or shared with other charities or companies.

  1. General

  • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
