We support individuals affected by ill health and/or disability. We use music to help reduce loneliness and isolation, improve wellbeing and confidence and build a social support network. We specialise in working with individuals living with dementia, mental health problems or learning disabilities. Description

Music24 Singing Cafe, WGC.

Our Singing Cafe's are aimed at those aged 55+ who are looking to get out and involved in their community, in a fun and interactive, welcoming setting. Our focus is to use the many benefits of music and singing to enhance and maintain mental and physical health and well-being. Our cafes are dementia-friendly and we sometimes offer 1:1 music therapy for people with Dementia in their own homes or care homes. Our Singing Cafes are held across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Mind Our Music, WGC.

Our specially trained music therapists can provide a much-needed creative outlet and a supportive network for adults living with mental health problems. We offer community-based music-making sessions known as Mind Our Music groups which are led by those taking part, and supported by our trained staff. People can make music within the group or simply listen, talk and share. The main focus is on improvising and songwriting and we provide a wide range of instruments to make new music with. But don't worry, you don't need to be a virtuoso to join in, we welcome all levels from non-musicians to accomplished performers. We run a number of Mind Our Music groups across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
